Season two of HBO's Euphoria is currently filming, which means we are finally getting to know some new cast additions.

The latest batch to join the show includes Minka Kelly – known as Dawn Granger aka Dove in the DC Universe series Titans – who will star in an unspecified role in season two alongside singer-songwriter Dominic Fike and Demetrius 'Lil Meech' Flenory Jr.

Fike, for whom this is his first time acting, spoke to Variety about his time filming for Euphoria saying: "It feels like a long music video."

The 25-year-old described his character as a "homie" who hangs out with Zendaya's Rue Bennett and Hunter Schafer's Jules Vaughn, who Fike called "the nicest people ever".

"They're both really funny," he added. "We were doing a scene the other day and had to keep redoing it because we just couldn't stop laughing."

While the singer didn't reveal much about his character, he said he found the acting easy as he reminds him of his younger self: "I don't have to do much acting. He's exactly like me. It's shit I would say and shit I would do."

One difference he noted though is that his character is a "degenerate" compared to his now sober ways.

No announcements have yet been made regarding Euphoria's second season premiere. Though filming is currently underway, we could be looking at late 2021 or more likely early 2022.

Season one also starred Jacob Elordi as Nate, Maude Apatow as Lexi, Alexa Demie as Maddy, Barbie Ferreira as Kat, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, Eric Dane as Cal, Algee Smith as Christopher, Austin Abrams as Ethan.

By the end of the first run, Rue has relapsed, Jules is leaving for the big city, Kat and Ethan hook up at the winter formal, Cassie is seeking an abortion and Maddy is stealing a CD from Nate's room that could incriminate his father.
