Euphoria star confirms she won't return for season 3
Euphoria star Storm Reid has confirmed that she won't be returning for season 3.
The actor played Gia Bennett, the younger sister of Zendaya's lead character Rue, in 14 episodes across the first two seasons. Despite that important connection, both actor and character won't be back for more.
Speaking to Rotten Tomatoes on a red carpet, Reid said: "I am very excited for season 3.

"Unfortunately, Gia's not returning to the third season, but I am so, so indebted to the cast and the crew of that show, to HBO.
"Euphoria's a really special thing, and I'm so glad that that's a part of my legacy and that I was a part of such a cultural phenomenon … I can't wait to see what season 3 has in store."
Season 3 is set to feature a time jump, as the actors are a bit old to play teenagers now, and Sydney Sweeney is excited about the challenge.
"With the time jump, it's a new process for me," she said.
"I'm kind of just learning as I go and being open for whatever's to come. But I'm also really excited. I love Cassie. She is always such a thrilling character to play, so I'm really looking forward to what's gonna happen in her life."

Meanwhile, HBO boss Casey Bloys recently shot down rumours that the planned early 2025 start date had hit a snag, confirming that everything is going ahead as planned.
"I think we have a start date, mid to late January," he said. "Nothing's changed. Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We're happy. We're moving ahead. All of the actors are in the show."
We guess that's almost all the actors.
Euphoria airs on HBO and streams on Max in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and Sky Go/NOW in the UK.
