Euromillions warning as four £1m winning tickets go unclaimed
Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets as huge prizes remain unclaimed. The National Lottery has announced four EuroMillions £1 million prizes remain unclaimed.
26 UK ticket-holders each won a sum of £1 million prizes in last Friday’s EuroMillions European Millionaire Maker draw. While 22 of the winning tickets have been claimed, four lucky tickets are still out there.
The National Lottery has said two missing EuroMillions winners bought their winning £1,000,000 tickets online while the other two were bought in retail.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “I can’t believe that four ticket-holders out there are millionaires and they don’t even know it yet!

“It’s only been a week since this special draw but 22 of these lucky UK winning ticket-holders are already enjoying their life-changing win. We’re urging all EuroMillions players to check their paper tickets and their National Lottery accounts to see if they are one of our four missing millionaires.”
Those who won online have been urged to check their emails, log into their National Lottery account and call the line to make their claim. This can be done either in store or by scanning the tickets through the National Lottery app. To claim their prize, winners will then need to call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050.#
The EuroMillions are played by people from UK, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. This creates a £1million winner in the UK in every EuroMillions draw.
