The X Factor saw a familiar face audition on tonight's (September 23) episode – at least for Louis Walsh, and maybe some of you watching at home, too.

For all those Eurovision fanatics out there, Montenegro was represented this year by the incredibly entertaining and Slavko Kalezić.

While he didn't make the final (WHY on Earth that was, we'll never know), he did try his luck on The X Factor tonight – and it was all thanks to a little past encouragement from Louis.

As he walked into the audition room, the judge recognised him from the off, explaining to the others how he met Slavko backstage at the competition earlier this year.

"We met [in] Ukraine at Eurovision," Louis explained. "Slavko was representing Montenegro. I saw him backstage and said, 'You should do X Factor'".

Well, it seems it was pretty good advice, as the 31-year-old aced his rendition of Beyoncé's 'End of Time' as he whipped his braid back and forth.

At one point, he even asked Simon Cowell if he was ready – and Simon looked pretty baffled.

"I can honestly say I've never seen or heard anything like that," Simon said afterwards. He also joked that he had "always wondered what Nicole as a guy would look like".

"Thank you for travelling all the way from Montenegro," Louis added. "You're a great dancer, not a great singer, but certainly one of the best performers."

Sharon Osbourne described his dancing as "tribal", while Nicole Scherzinger added that she felt "savage" after his audition.

In the end, it was yeses all round from everyone but Simon, who remained tight-lipped about his own verdict.

However, viewers were loving Slavko's antics:
