Yahoo News Eva Longoria Celebrates Engagement to Jose Antonio Baston With Glitzy Party in Dubai
Let the pre-wedding parties begin!
Eva Longoria celebrated her recent engagement to media executive Jose Antonio Baston in Dubai on Monday night, with a luxurious private engagement party. The couple was joined by 20 friends at Sass Cafe Dubai, an upscale restaurant with impressive views of the city, including the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
Sass Cafe Instagrammed a photo of the happy couple with friends on Monday, writing, "Congratulations to @evalongoria celebrating her engagement at @sasscafedubai tonight."

Eva, Jose, and their guests sipped on Cristal and Laurent Perrier Rose champagne, and dined on a Mediterranean menu, which included decadent dishes like linguine with freshly shaved black truffle. The fine dining bill totaled just under $10,000.
"Eva seemed very happy and excited, she was taking photos and dancing," photographer Jimmy Deparis, who was at the restaurant, says. "Jose looked really happy too and really proud."
The 40-year-old former Desperate Housewives star Instagrammed a selfie from the party on Monday, but said she was celebrating Patricio Moreno, a friend who works with the Global Gift Gala. Eva and Jose attended the Global Gift Gala in Dubai this past Saturday, supporting the nonprofit Global Gift Foundation, which is focused on making a positive impact on the lives of children, women, and families, by bringing together organizations, resources, and celebrities. Other guests at the engagement party included Dubai entrepreneur Evgeny Kuzin, Abu Dhabi businessman Ayman Al Afifi, and Maria Bravo, the co-founder of the Global Gift Foundation.
Judging by her Instagram, Eva is now in India, where she visited Harmony House, a charity serving underprivileged children. "Thank you @HarmonyHouseIndia for letting us visit! You're doing amazing things," the actress posted on Tuesday, alongside a picture of her posing with a group of children.

Eva announced her engagement to 47-year-old Jose -- the president of Televisa, a Latin American media company -- on Sunday. The pair first stepped out as a couple in November 2013. This will be the third marriage for Eva, who was previously married to actor Christopher Tyler from 2002 to 2004, and NBA star Tony Parker from 2007 to 2011.
