Evacuation Levels Lowered as Firefighters Make Progress on Cedar Creek Fire

The Cedar Creek Fire burning east of Oakridge, Oregon, was 86,734 acres on Monday, September 12, according to fire officials.

Lane County Sheriff’s Office lowered a number of evacuation levels on September 11, due to changing conditions and cooler weather which aided firefighters’ progress on the west side of the blaze.
