Evacuations Ordered as Fast-Growing Fire Breaks Out Near Auburn

Several evacuation warnings and orders were in place on September 5 after a vegetation fire broke out at a bridge in Auburn, California.

This footage, posted by Cal Fire’s Nevada Yuba Placer Unit, shows flames and smoke at the Foresthill Bridge near Auburn.

People at nearby state parks were evacuated, Cal Fire said, and several roads were closed.
