Evacuations Ordered as Fast Moving Bushfire Threatens Homes in Western Australia

Authorities issued an emergency warning and ordered residents to evacuate, on January 5, as a bushfire threatened homes near Lancelin, Western Australia.

Several locales in the shires of Gingin and Dandaragan were urged to “act immediately to survive” by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services due to the fast moving fire.

Residents of Ocean Farms Estate were ordered to leave as part of the warning.
