Evacuees From Afghanistan Arrive at Perth International Airport

Australian citizens and visa holders arrived in Perth, Western Australia, on the morning of August 20 having been evacuated from Kabul, Afghanistan, according to the Australian Department of Defence.

In a statement, Australia’s Department of Home Affairs said they were “establishing flight options for Australian citizens, Permanent Residents, and immediate family members, who are seeking to depart the country.”
