Eve Myles' Keeping Faith series 2 will feature "a lot more" of one major character after shock cliffhanger

Keeping Faith series two recently finished filming and is expected back on our small screens in June, and now actor Bradley Freegard has revealed that fans can expect to see "a lot more" of his character Evan Howells in the gripping drama.
... Which is what we've been anticipating, given that Evan has an awful lot to answer for.
The first series followed Faith – played by Eve Myles – trying to keep her family life afloat after the sudden disappearance of Bradley's enigmatic Evan.
Faith soon became entangled in a dangerous web of lies and conspiracies as shocking revelations about her husband emerged – all until he suddenly showed up in the show's shock finale.
Speaking at the BFI and Radio Times Television Festival, Freegard teased (via Radio Times): "[Evan's] back, a lot more. We find out a lot more about, obviously, where he's been and the process of him trying to make amends, in some respects. Whether he does or not, I can't say."
Judging by Faith's face in series one's cliffhanger, AND the fact that she thought he was dead, AND that she had fallen for Mark Lewis Jones' Steve Baldini (who we were all secretly rooting for)... those amends are going to be ginormous.
On what Myles thought of Freegard's return in the script (the co-stars are married in real life), she recalled: "I was sitting at the island in the kitchen and I got to the end and I just went, 'No. Way.'
"I threw the script and [Bradley] went, 'Shall I read it?' and I went, 'No, not yet'."
Freegard joked: "I'm just so relieved that it made the edit!"
Un Bore Mercher – the show's Welsh title – will return to screens in Wales on Sunday, May 12 for six more gripping episodes. Keeping Faith is expected to air on BBC One Wales and BBC One in the summer.
