We've made it clear that we're not sure about The X Factor's changes and it seems even Nicole Scherzinger isn't 100% on them either.

In the latest issue of Look, Nicole reflected on the changes this series, such as the new 'Prize Fight' sing-off between the two acts with the most votes over the two weekend live shows.

"They're literally changing everything up this year. Even as a judge, I'm like, 'Woah'. I've been asking them how it will all work but I guess we'll see. They can switch it up as they go along," she explained.

One change she would be happy to see though is for the show to focus more on her "shine".

"I like to see how they edit things because I've lived it and then you see it. Then I'm like, 'No, they should have done this, why did they do that?' I'm so much more fabulous but they take away my shine, they dull it down! Let it be the Scherzy Show once in a while," Nicole joked.

Her fellow judge Louis Walsh is a big fan of her "shine", it seems, as he's had a subtle dig at Cheryl by saying that Nicole is a better judge.

"Nicole is the best though. Tulisa was great, she never gets any credit – she put Little Mix together, everybody forgets that," he explained, adding that there isn't any "hatchet" to bury between him and Cheryl.

As much as Louis likes Nicole though, it might not be enough to get her to come back for the next series, given what she's been hinting recently.

"If I don't come back it's not because I don't love it. It's because I'm a singer first. Every artist needs that time out to reflect," she noted last month. "Anybody who's successful in what they do is making sacrifices."

The X Factor continues on Saturday on ITV.
