Ashley Cain

The local celebrity is calling into Coventry on a leg of his latest ultra fundraising challenge. Ashley is part way through an epic ‘world first’ challenge which will see him running, cycling and kayaking the length of the country three times.

Tomorrow, Sunday, June 2, he will call into the Coventry Building Society Arena, a place that has special meaning for him as a former Sky Blues player.

He will be there between 6pm and 7pm and people are invited to go along and cheer him into the arena site.

Ashley is fundraising for the Azaylia Foundation that he and former partner Safiyya Vorajee set up in memory of their baby daughter. He hopes to raise enough to pay towards 20 PhD scholarships to support new medics and new research into childhood cancer.
