Here’s an unsettling thought - every glass of water you have ever drunk is composed almost entirely of water molecules which have already passed through a dinosaur.

Basically, you are drinking dinosaur urine.

Water on our planet has cycled between the surface and the seas many times - and the dinosaurs ruled our planet for so long that almost all the water molecules we encounter have passed through a dinosaur at least once.

Almost every single molecule every glass you drink has passed through a dinosaur, according to science YouTube channel Curious Minds.

Curious Minds says, ‘Dinosaurs had a long time to drink water. The Mesozoic era – the reign of the dinosaurs – lasted for 186 million years.

By contrast, homo sapiens has only been around for 200,000 years, scientists believe.
