Lady Gaga is our new Harley Quinn—and she isn’t just leaving her character on screen. In her press tour for the new movie, Joker: Folie à Deux, Gaga has worn a series of avant-garde looks inspired by Quinn and the Joker. Pairing all the outfits with bright red hair and stage makeup, Gaga is blending her on screen role with her off screen persona—at least, for the time being.
The movie, where she stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix as Lee Quinzel, premieres in theaters on October 4.

First up on the press run was the UK Premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, held last week in London at the Cineworld Leicester Square. Lady Gaga wore a dramatic red gown with a slanted drop waist and matching puff-sleeve bolero—the look was designed by Hedi Slimane for Celine. Her hair, dyed a dark maroon, was styled in a blunt bob with bangs, and the makeup echoed that of Harley Quinn, with bleached eyebrows, vibrant blue eyeshadow, and a faux, makeup-smudged crystal tear running down her upper cheek.
All of Gaga’s jewelry was from Tiffany & Co. including a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock brooch, Vigne ring, and platinum and yellow gold earrings with yellow diamonds.
Gaga’s fiancé, Michael Polansky, accompanied her in a Hedi Slimane suit.

Gaga went full on costume later that same day for a fan event at the Nomad Hotel. She wore two looks. The first was a leotard with different cartoon and photographed faces collaged and quilted on it. She paired it with ripped red tights, matching multicolored ruffled thigh high socks, and ultra-platform knee-high Mary Jane-inspired boots. The outfit was designed by recent Central Saint Martins graduate Ida Immendorff.

The next day, Gaga went for a more reserved look in a vintage-inspired black and white dress with a lace collar. The look was custom-made by costume house Muto-Little. But, Gaga still added some edge with knee high striped socks and massive platform buckled ankle boots.

This week, the actress headed to Los Angeles for the movie’s premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Somewhere along the way, she amped up her hair color, switching from maroon to a vibrant cherry red. Gaga wore another dramatic dress by Hedi Slimane for Celine. This piece was black with dramatic, ruffled sleeves that coalesced into a cape at Gaga’s back. The dress featured a high slit at the side, showing off sky-high, pointy platform boots.
Gaga paired the dress with more Tiffany & Co. jewelry. This time she went with the brand’s Schlumberger Vigne necklace, which features 330 total carats of oval rubellites. In her ears, she wore Tiffany’s Schlumberger-designed black enamel earrings with platinum, diamonds, and 18k yellow-gold.

After a busy week, Gaga was finally spotted in a relaxed outfit leaving Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she spoke with Kimmel and performed. Her hair was slicked back and dyed to her usual bleached blonde. She wore transparent black tights, an oversized Jimmy Kimmel Live! t-shirt, an oversized black blazer, and gray peep toe pumps.
