Arsenal are one step closer to Europa League glory after beating Ostersunds FK 4-2 on aggregate to qualify for the last 16 of the competition.

Arsene Wenger's Gunners went in to Thursday night's second leg at Emirates Stadium in control with a 3-0 away win, and progressed despite a shock 2-1 win for the Swedish minnows in north London.

The round of 16 now awaits Arsenal as the competition heats up, though some high-profile casualties will serve as a warning that the Gunners will have to work hard to win the trophy Manchester United lifted last season.

Arsenal fans may have been boosted by the fact that Napoli - one of the favourites heading into the last 32 - were knocked out by RB Leipzig on away goals, though the German side will now be ones to watch out for after beating the Italians.

The Gunners are the only British team left after Zenit dumped out Celtic, and can draw any of the other 15 teams with no seeding or country protection - with the exception that teams from Russia and Ukraine cannot face each other.

The draw takes place at midday UK time on Friday, February 23, with the last-16 ties to be played on March 8 and 15.
