A body positive campaign aimed at encouraging women worried about their appearance to head to the beach, has been launched by the Spanish government.
The country's equality ministry launched the crusade which has the slogan: "Summer is ours too!"
The brainchild of the Spanish Women's Institute, promotional photos feature five diverse women of different shapes, including a topless woman after a mastectomy.
Irene Montero, a minister in the equality department, said: "All bodies are valid and we have the right to enjoy life as we are, without guilt or shame.
"Summer is for everyone!"
The campaign aimed to move away from traditional summer images that tended to depict women with so-called "perfect" bodies.
Women's Institute head Antonia Morillas said unrealistic physical expectations not only affected women's self esteem but also denied them their rights.
In supporting the movement, she tweeted: "Diverse bodies, free of gender stereotypes, occupying all spaces. Summer also belongs to us. Free, equal and diverse."
