Everything Everywhere star Ke Huy Quan's tearful speech after historic win
Everything Everywhere All At Once won big at last night's (February 26) SAG Awards, with Ke Huy Quan becoming the first Asian performer to win for Best Supporting Actor.
The movie by the Daniels (filmmaking duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) received five nominations across four categories. The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom star earned the award for Best Supporting Actor, marking his historic win with an emotional speech.
Quan took to the stage where he teared up, saying: "This moment no longer belongs to just me. It also belongs to everyone who has asked for change."

He also lamented there were "few opportunities" coming his way prior to the role of Waymond Wang in EEAAO, and that the lack of available roles had forced him to step away from acting.
He then gave a shout-out to other Asian nominees, including Everything Everywhere co-star and protagonist Michelle Yeoh. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star also made history as the first Asian woman to win for Best Lead Actress in the ceremony's 28-year run.
"The landscape looks so different now than before," Quan commented before sharing a message for those watching at home.
"Please keep on going because the spotlight will one day find you," he said.

The total of four wins on the night is also a SAG Awards record for a single film.
