Beyoncé and her six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy took their love of matching outfits to new levels on Saturday night as they attended the Wearable Arts Gala in Los Angeles.

The event, held by Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles for a second year running embraced the theme 'From WACO to Wakanda', inspired by the latest box office hit Black Panther.

Naturally, Queen B and her mini-me stole the show as they arrived in voluminous gold gowns, Beyoncé's being custom made by Indian couture duo Falguni and Shane Peacock.

The dramatic masterpiece was inspired by Nubian princesses, the designers explaining to WWD, “between the metallic cutouts to the gold dramatic train, we attained an artistic statement while respecting the Nubian inspiration.”

The couple worked closely with Beyoncé's stylist Marni Senofonte in order to perfect the extravagant gown, the handmade creation taking “countless hours over a span of 10 days to create.”

Although Bey's gown took up nearly half the room and required someone to carry her train around for the evening, the Queen herself was slightly overshadowed at the event by her first born.

Not only did Blue Ivy bid on a piece of $19k art work, but she quite literally outshone her mother wearing a dazzling metallic ruffled dress by Annakiki and custom gold tinsel wig by Divamp Couture.

The coordination did not stop there as Blue Ivy's grandmother also stuck to gold hues, donning a Jean Louis Sabaj Couture gown complete with matching gloves.
