Moordale High is Back in Session and Season 3 of "Sex Education" Might Just Be The Best One Yet

Moordale Secondary is back in session, and we are in for an interesting school year. It has been almost a year and a half since we heard from the students at Moordale Secondary after season two ended in January 2020. In the season finale Jean found out she was pregnant with Jakob's baby, Otis confessed his love for Maeve in a voicemail only for Issac, Maeve's neighbor, to delete it. Adam finally admitted his feelings for Eric in a public display of affection and Maeve called social services on her mom. Oh, and let's not forget there is a new headmistress in town after Moordale earned the nickname "Sex School" following news of the sex scandal. Season three picks up after summer break and the students return to school just as awkward and horny only to learn that things at Moordale might look a bit different this year.

*Major spoilers for season 2 of Sex Education below!*

Here's everything you need to know about season 3 of Sex Education.

When does season 3 come out?

The series returned to Netflix on September 17th for its third season. You can now stream all eight episodes.

Is there a trailer for season 3?

On July 19th Netflix's released a trailer parodying an advertisement for Moordale Secondary School featuring all your favorite students and the headmistress. The ad makes it clear that the idea of a new Moordale is not well received by the student body.

And on September 7th Netflix released a full length trailer giving us a look at what we can expect from the students at Moordale this year. Goats, mustaches, shame signs, and of course sex. Watch the clip below before diving into this new chapter!

When will season 3 start filming?

According to TechRadar, the series started filming season 3 back in September 2020 and recently wrapped in March 2021.

Who will be coming back?

We'll definitely be seeing all our favorite characters back like Otis, Maeve, Eric, and more! It doesn't seem like any characters have left the show, but you can expect to meet some new faces. Jemima Kirke joins the cast as Hope Haddon, the new seemingly cool headmistress. Only we quickly learn she is wildly controlling in her attempts to get the school "back on track". After getting fired from headmaster and separating from his wife Mr. Groff finds himself staying with his older brother Peter, played by Jason Isaacs who is more successful and not afarid to tell you. We also meet Cal, a non-binary student played by recording artist and performer Dua Saleh and Indra Ové plays Anna, Elsie's foster mom.

Will there be a season 4?

As of right now the the show has not been renewed for a fourth season but finger's crossed because this season ends with a big question mark.
