This year's Celebrity Big Brother has booted its first star tonight (January 12) in a live eviction.

After some tense face-to-face nominations, series 21 of the show has been pulling no punches.

This week, it was controversial transgender newsreader India Willoughby vs. Love Island hunk Jonny Mitchell.

No one wants to be the first one out, but someone's time was up after just 10 days.

Going to public vote, India was sent packing under the gaze of those giant eyes.

India's psychic vibes predicted that she would be walking up the steps and she wasn't wrong.

As the housemates said their goodbyes, she was given just 30 seconds to gather her thoughts.

Emma Willis looked stunning in a minidress as she met India at the door before her interview.

Reflecting on her time in the house, India seemed disappointed to be the first to go.

"It's like a hurdles race," she said. "There are obstacles in that house and I think I hit a big one on the gender question."

Despite being a superfan of the show, India admitted that she was out of her depth with her backfiring tactics.

"I was psyched up to mix it a little bit. You know, stir things, but it's not that kind of house."

She also said that she didn't think the outcome would've been any different if the men had cast their votes for nominations.

"Compared to what has come before in Big Brother history, it's a very mild show, more intellectual."

Talking about the other housemates, India said that Courtney Act was a firm favourite of hers.

Asked if she would do anything different, India reflected that she should've kept her "gob" shut.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow (January 13) at 10.30pm on Channel 5.
