Ewan McGregor's daughter calls his girlfriend, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 'a piece of trash'

If you wondered whether Ewan McGregor‘s family had started to embrace his relationship with his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the answer is a hard no.

Clara McGregor, the oldest of Ewan and his soon-to-be ex-wife Eve Mavrakis‘s four children, went on a random Instagram fan page for Winstead and ripped her apart. The photo was of Winstead looking glam at an event and all the comments were about how “beautiful” and “perfect” she is. Clara added her own comment, writing, “Most beautiful and talented woman on earth???” with some LOL emojis. “Oh man y’all are delusional. The girl is a piece of trash.” She ended her comment with a smile.

Since it’s a Winstead fan page, many of the comments that followed were negative toward Clara — while some others — like one from a user named Lunaperiods, pointed out that “it takes two to tango and Ewan clearly wanted it to happen. So over women being blamed for everything that goes wrong in relationships.”

Despite Clara’s harsh words about Winstead, she’s publicly supported her Star Wars star dad since he left her mom — his wife of 22 years — last year after working with Winstead on Fargo. Clara, a photographer and aspiring actress who recently posed for Playboy, was with him on the red carpet at for the premiere of his film Zoe during the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

But make no mistake about the fact that Clara has her production designer mom’s back. Soon after the McGregor-Mavrakis split was announced in October — a move forced by a series of PDA pics of Ewan and Winstead — Clara posted this sweet tribute to her mom.

Clara may be the most outspoken of the McGregor kids, but she’s not the only one in the spotlight. She and her 16-year-old sister, Esther McGregor, are appearing in a new Fendi campaign featuring families. Yes, the one that also features Kim Kardashian, North West, and Kris Jenner. Other McGregor kids are Jamyan, 17, and Anouk, 7.
