Home and Away favourite Samara Weaving has found her next TV role as a real-life Playboy Bunny.
Eight years after leaving Summer Bay, the Indi Walker actress will play Holly Madison in a limited series based on her memoir Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny.
TVLine reports that a network is yet to come onboard.
According to the show's official logline, Down the Rabbit Hole takes a look "beyond the polished facade of the Playboy brand to depict the visceral, often deeply damaging stories of the women who entered following a dream and found themselves manipulated, controlled, and abused by the machine."
Madison herself is an executive producer, while Australian scribe Marieke Hardy adapts.
It's been a fruitful 2021 for Weaving so far, as the 28-year-old also secured a leading movie role just last month.
She's playing one of America's founding mothers Elizabeth Patterson Bonaparte in director Adam Leon's biopic Liz, which is being sold as a US alternative to The Great or Bridgerton.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
