Neighbours alum Travis Burns has shared his thoughts on a potential return to the role of Tyler Brennan.

A Ramsay Street regular between 2015 and 2018, the 29-year-old last cropped up in Piper Willis' exit episodes, to the delight of many fans.

Chatting to Now To Love with an eye on the future, Burns admitted he's been thinking about the one storyline that could reel him back in.

"Mav [Hazel, who played Piper] and I had this conversation late last year," he teased. "If Mav went back, I'd be very interested in going back, for sure. I'd love to do another storyline with Tyler and Piper. I wouldn't come back if it was with anyone else.

"My options are open and I won't turn down an offer without really thinking about it."

While we hope the Neighbours powers that be take this onboard, it seems the star is still intent on tracking down new opportunities.

"It's been quiet during COVID and it's definitely taken a toll on the industry in America," Burns said, who lives in Los Angeles with wife and former Neighbours co-star Emma Lane.

"But auditions are starting to come through now and I'm focusing as much as I can on that, giving it my all. We'll see what happens."
