Ex-Polly Peck Boss Denies £33m Theft
Business tycoon Asil Nadir has denied the theft of £33.1m from the Polly Peck company in the 1980s.
The 70-year-old appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to 13 counts.
They relate to the alleged theft of £33.1m and $2.5m from Polly Peck between 1987 and 1990.
Nadir's trial was due to start on Wednesday, but it was delayed until a later date.
The businessman, from Belgravia in central London, remains on conditional bail.
