Former Rangers star Jake Hastie leads a list of players who are leaving Hamilton Accies at the end of the season.

Hastie, who scored three times as Hamilton regained their Championship status via the play-offs, has returned to Hartlepool United, following his loan spell, which started in January.

That is also the case with Inverness’ Jake Davidson, Mackenzie Kirk of Hearts and Ahkeem Rose at Ayr United.

Of that list, Rose has been released by Ayr, and Hamilton are trying to sign him on a permanent deal.

Goalkeeper Ryan Fulton is leaving and expected to sign for Hearts, while Livingston have already announced winger Lewis Smith on a two-year deal.

Joel Mumbongo, who was on loan at Queen of the South and scored five times for the Dumfries side, and six in total, has been released, as has Paddy Meechan, and from the under-18s, Anthony Carroll and Reece Murray.

Hamilton have also had loan players return to the club. Jared Lyons has come back from Gala Fairydean Rovers, Chris McGinn from Clyde, Joe McGlynn from Kelty Hearts, Paddy Meechan from Gretna, and Cian Newbury from Dumbarton.

Under-18 players Gravine Kalala, Josh Lane, Liam Morgan and Arran Preston have recently extended their contracts.

Hamilton Accies have a number of players who are out of contract, but are in talks with the club.
