Ex-Strictly dancer announces plans for 'Ola Jordan: The Movie'

As movie plots go, the life story of someone who used to dance around a bit on Strictly doesn’t exactly sound like it’s going to set the box office alight.

But professional dancer Ola Jordan isn’t letting that put her off.

The 34-year-old star, who sensationally quit the show last year, says movie producers got in touch about turning her tell-all book into a film just days after it hit the shelves.

“I might be doing a movie about my book,” she cooed to The Sun. “I can’t say too much as it’s still up in the air but a film production company called and they want to talk about the possibility of a film based on my book.

“We’re meeting with the publishers very soon to talk about the proposal so who knows where it could end up!”

And who on earth could play the, ahem, world’s most famous ballroom star?

“I want to pick a nice actress because I don’t know if I’m good enough to be in it. But it might have to be an unknown dancer in the film as they’d need to have to dance very well.”

Hmmm… we’ve heard Kristina Rihanoff is available, Ola?

In the book, Polish-born Ola spills the beans on her time on the BBC show, revealing the truth behind her falling out with fellow dancer Kristina and her bust up with acid-tongued judge Craig Revel-Horwood.

“I don’t know if people should be scared about what’s in the book,” Ola says. “It’s only the truth – life isn’t all pretty so I was as truthful as I could be.”
