Exact date Chelmsford's sixth McDonald's restaurant to open at Chelmer Village retail park
A brand new McDonald's restaurant will open its doors to customers on a retail park later this week after a swift refurbishment. The fast food chain is opening its sixth site in Chelmsford at the Chelmer Village Retail Park.
The global burger joint replaces Itsu which shut at the end of 2023. Before being a sushi restaurant the site had also been a Pizza Hut. Itsu closed at the retail park just over 18 months after first opening. It was the only Itsu in Essex at the time of its closure.
