Excitable Catchphrase contestant Adei divides viewers

Everyone knows the sheer joy of correctly guessing a say-what-you-see on Catchphrase is up there with correctly getting a question that The Chaser has answered wrongly when it comes to the TV quiz stakes.

But on tonight's Catchphrase repeat (April 29), there was definitely one contestant who was more excited than most when she got the answers right and sailed her way through to the final round.

The episode first aired last year, when Adei from Leeds became the first contestant to ever win the show's Super Jackpot, but tonight saw the excitable contestant back on our TV screens, where viewers were soon talking about her performance all over again.

Only this time there was more of a split between the viewers who were completely over-the-moon for Adei after her emotional win... and those who just spent the hour complaining that she was just a bit too annoying for Saturday night television.
