Excited Puppy Experiences First Snow in Southern Minnesota

Charlie the Scottish terrier experienced his first snowfall on Wednesday, November 6, as he scampered through the wintery landscape of southern Minnesota.

This video shows Charlie, who’s less than a year old, running through a snowy lawn in Blue Earth, Minnesota. About 4.5 inches of snow collected in Blue Earth by Wednesday morning, according to data from the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said snowfall began overnight and continued into Wednesday morning. An additional inch of snow could accumulate on Wednesday, but the weather service said snowfall was generally expected to slow down. However, “unseasonably cold” temperatures were forecast for the following days. Credit: @charlie_the_cute_scottie_dog via Storyful
