Excited Supporters Gather Outside Biden and Harris Events in Delaware

Supporters of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris gathered outside Alexis I du Pont High School in Greenville, Delaware, on August 12, hoping to catch a glimpse of the pair as they held their first public appearance and media event, reports said.

Biden and Harris appeared together at the high school – in Biden’s hometown – before an audience of reporters. The public was not permitted inside. During his speech, Biden remarked that he wished he could speak with people gathered outside but wouldn’t for COVID-19 safety, reports said.

Videos filmed by local resident Carissma McGee show a small crowd chanting “2020 Democrats” and running toward the back of the school in an attempt to see Biden and Harris as they exited.
