The nation's favourite pasty brand, Ginsters, has teamed up with the UK's leading meat-free brand, Quorn, to create a brand new vegan sausage roll, set to be available in stores this month. And if it's anything like Ginsters' Quorn Cornish Pasty, it's bound to be delicious.

Described as a "bespoke meat-free, high in fibre sausage - peppered with herbs and spices - in a light puff pastry to capture the much-loved flavour of a traditional sausage roll, simply minus the meat", it sounds pretty great, huh?

Kieran Hemsworth, Ginsters’ Managing Director said: “There’s huge appetite for meat-free convenience foods that don’t compromise on flavour; our new Vegan Quorn Sausage Roll is sure to satisfy that hunger – all with our signature taste.”

The vegan sausage rolls are being made by Ginsters' expert pastry chefs using quality ingredients, and are baked in Callington, Cornwall. But the question is, will it be as good as Greggs' vegan sausage roll?

Andy Smith, Quorn's Director of Business Development, said: “We’ve been blown away by the amazing response that we have received for our Ginsters Vegan Quorn Pasty. It’s won fans among both vegans and vegetarians, as well as those simply cutting down on their meat intake. Teaming up with Ginsters to extend the partnership and create a Vegan Quorn Sausage Roll was a natural and exciting progression.”
