Twitter is in a frenzy since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they are expecting their first child on Monday morning – and of course many celebrities are getting in on the congratulatory action too.

Holly Willoughby, Lily Allen, Ronan Keating and Love Island’s Dr Alex are just some of the celebrities that have publicly expressed their well wishes for the expecting royal couple.

Willoughby said it was ‘lovely waking up to royal baby news’ followed by promoting the dress and shoes she wore for today’s This Morning.

Meanwhile, Lily Allen saw the baby news as a welcome distraction to the ‘#BrexitShambles.’

Ronan Keating left a comment under the official Kensington Palace announcement on Instagram with, “Congrats. Delighted.”

Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt called the announcement ‘so exciting’ and asked her fans what they predict the royal baby will be named.

News presenter Kay Burley pondered whether the baby, which is expected in spring 2019, would have a ‘blue passport’ which is set to return following the EU-Brexit.

The Apprentice’s Karen Brady called the announcement ‘wonderful news’ and completed her Tweet of congratulations with a heartfelt quote.

Love Island’s Dr Alex George even offered to help the expecting couple, joking that he would appear at the ready if they chanted the same word three times before a mirror.

And even Prime Minister Theresa May congratulated the expecting pair by “Wishing them all the best.”
