Exciting new high ropes course to be built in Hull with 'world first' design
Thrill-seekers visiting Hull Adventure Centre are in for a treat with the upcoming arrival of an exciting new high ropes course that offers a "world first" feature.
The first phase will see a unique 20-pole course constructed over the karting track at the east Hull centre. This will provide visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience as they navigate challenging aerial obstacles while karts whizz by beneath them.
The course will conclude with a thrilling 100m zip line and is set to welcome adventurers from spring 2025.

Additional team-building facilities, such as a Jacob's Ladder and crate stack, will also be incorporated. These additions will allow Hull Adventure Centre to cater to a diverse range of groups including schools, youth groups, voluntary sector organisations, and businesses.
High-Low Ropes Course Consulting Ltd has been appointed by Hull City Council to build the latest attraction at the multi-activity centre in Poorhouse Lane, off Preston Road.
This development comes on the back of Hull Adventure Centre's rebrand in March, which introduced bubble ball football, tag archery, and dodgeball as it celebrated 20 years of Hull Karting.
John Haines, manager at Hull Adventure Centre, spoke of his excitement about the upcoming attraction, saying: "It is fantastic news that an amazing new high ropes facility is on the way.
"We have been working on this project for the last two years and now we are finally ready to move into the build stage and we plan to be ready and raring to go for the summer season next year.
"It will be the first ever high ropes course in the world where you will be climbing and conquering the obstacles and zip lining along whilst karts race around below you!
"We cannot wait to be able to open this new facility as part of Hull Adventure Centre for the community of Hull, including schools, youth groups and business to all enjoy."
Up to 12 job opportunities will also be created through the high ropes project.
Cllr Paul Drake-Davis, portfolio holder for regeneration at Hull City Council, added: "This contract award is warmly welcomed and will only add to what is already a popular facility in Hull Adventure Centre.
"The high ropes will also diversify and widen the centre's offering, in addition to bringing in revenue to support its activities in the future, as well as creating new job opportunities in the city."
High-Low Ropes Course Consulting Ltd CEO, Ali Glendinning, said: "We are thrilled to have been awarded the tender to design and building the new high ropes course at Hull Adventure Centre.
"This exciting project represents a fantastic opportunity to bring a unique, adrenaline-fueled experience to the area.
"Our team is committed to delivering a top-quality structure that combines safety, innovation and fun for all ages.
"We look forward to collaborating with Hull City Council and contributing to the growth of leisure facilities in the region."
