Yahoo News Exclusive: Hollyoaks producer teases Warren's mystery return
Hollyoaks boss Bryan Kirkwood has teased Warren Fox's return storyline in a chat with Digital Spy, promising that he heads back to the village for a "very good reason".
Fans have been speculating about why Warren (Jamie Lomas) will return to his old haunts after two years on the run.
Warren is currently living away from the village with his twin toddlers, much to the despair of the youngsters' mother Sienna Blake. However, after two years of outfoxing his old flame, Warren will return to face the music in 2020.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Kirkwood explained: "We want Warren to evolve in the brilliant way that Jamie Lomas let him evolve the last time he was here.

"What we love about Warren is that he's one of the most convincing, plausible and compelling villains and anti-heroes we've ever had on the show.
"He's also a great lover and I think that's what people really like about Warren. He just wants a family and he just wants the love of a good woman. That's what sets him apart from other 'bag of money' villains in Hollyoaks and other shows.
"There's a very good reason that Warren comes back to the village. It's all about family and it's all about heart."

Digital Spy exclusively revealed Warren's return earlier in the summer and his comeback was later teased with a brief cameo scene.
The dangerous schemer will be back full-time early next year.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
