Yahoo News Exclusive: Hollyoaks star teases Harry's big secret
Hollyoaks star Parry Glasspool has spoken to Digital Spy about Harry Thompson's big secret, warning of tense times ahead with newcomer Sadie Cressington.
Show bosses are teasing trouble ahead for Harry, as his ex-girlfriend Sadie (Alexa Lee) is coming to the village to demand money from him. We'll see the former couple come face-to-face at the Folly next week, with some curveballs in store as we discover what Harry has been hiding from his partner James Nightingale.
Speaking to Digital Spy about Harry's mysterious dynamic with Sadie, Parry explained: "There's a bit of tension, because she comes in and she's asking Harry for money. We don't know why – yet.
"Harry wants to use her as an alibi, so they both want these things from each other. But things are going well with James and he doesn't need Sadie coming in and ruining everything.
"He just wants to keep it on the down-low – [he wants her to] take the money and go. So it's a bit awkward at the moment."
Harry may have to figure things out quickly, as next week's episodes also see Liam Donovan grow increasingly determined to make sure that he is framed for the recent crash drama involving Grace Black.
Sadie can clear Harry's name if she speaks to the police, but when was life in the village ever that simple?
Parry added: "He should be pretty worried, as Harry's alibis aren't the best. Especially when he's trying to keep the whole Sadie situation quiet, so it's just lies upon lies upon lies.
"It's like the boy who cried wolf – even James is going to start wondering. With the whole Amy thing as well, it wouldn't be the first time that he's left a lady to die. So all the wrong things are adding up for Harry. We'll see whether he gets out of it."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
