Home and Away star Sam Frost has spoken to Digital Spy about her character Jasmine Delaney's role in the show's dramatic return episodes in the UK.
The Australian soap returns to Channel 5 next week, picking up with the aftermath of Tane Parata's big cliffhanger.
In November, viewers saw Tane's mysterious stalker try to kill him with a gas attack at the gym.
This terrible act had wider consequences, as the dangerous substance made its way into Salt through the air vents, endangering those attending Martha Stewart's mental health event.
In next week's scenes, Jasmine and Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) step in to help treat Tane after he's pulled from the building. They selflessly make this decision despite the risk of cross-contamination.
Sam told Digital Spy: "Jasmine always puts others before herself. It's part of why she loves being a nurse so much.
"She tries to compartmentalise and treat those affected like every other patient, but naturally she is more emotional and everything is heightened because they're people she loves."
On filming the dramatic scenes, she continued: "We love filming high-stakes drama scenes. It's always so great to all get together and film the big scenes.
"The days are long, but we always enjoy each other's company and the time we get to film together as a bigger group.
"It's always fun to be part of the big storylines, especially when there's danger or a disaster looming."
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR (UK), with first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
