The Mountain Dew skater has been putting in the hours with the Lollipop rapper, who he is good friends with, and the pair often head to a skate park after they’ve been for a night out clubbing because the 33-year-old hip hop star is determined to get it right.

Speaking at the Dew Tour AM Series in Amsterdam, Theotis told Yahoo Celeb: “That’s my boy. Every time I’m in LA he hits me up and we go skate.

"We go to the club, later that night we go to the skate park from like 12 to like four or five in the morning.

"He skates late.”

Theo admitted Wayne has improved since has started showing him the ropes.

When asked if he is teaching him, he added: “Yeah. He’s getting better. He can do 180s.”

But the 25-year-old professional skateboarder, who is aiming to compete for the USA at Tokyo 2020 when the sport makes its Olympic Games debut, admitted it feels odd teaching Wayne how to skate because he looks up to the star so much.

He added: “That’d be tight. He asked me, ‘How do I put my feet?’ I feel kinda weird trying to tell him because I’m a big fan.

"It feels weird to explain it to him because he’s so dope. We all look up to him. He’s cool.

"Once you learn how to kickflip you’re good.

"He’ll get it. If he asks I’ll try to teach him, I’m down.”

Returning for the third year, the Mountain Dew, Dew Tour AM Series took place in Amsterdam this August. (http://www.dewtour.com/tag/am-series/)
