EXCLUSIVE Matt and Emma Willis' daughter has been squatting since she was a year old

After getting married in 2008, Matt and Emma Willis welcomed three children together – eight-year-old Isabelle, five-year-old Ace, and 18-month-old Trixie, however, the famous couple have always been fiercely protective of their family’s privacy.

Now Matt has given some insight into his family life in a candid chat with Yahoo Celeb UK; admitting that he encourages his children to be as healthy as possible.

In fact, Matt confessed that his oldest daughter has been squatting since she was just a year old, and that they do squats together every morning before school.

Speaking exclusively to Yahoo, Matt explained: “My daughter has been squatting since she was one; every morning before school we do ten squats.

“Ace, who is five, is s*** at squatting but Isabelle, her movement pattern is perfect – she could be an Olympic weight lifter one day, she’s got the most perfect form.

“I’ve lost my son, he’s not interested, but Trixie – she’s 18-months – she’s going to be doing it too.”

But despite Isabelle picking up the exercise routine at such a young age, Trixie still isn’t quite getting it, with the Busted star adding: “Trixie doesn’t understand what I’m saying yet.

“I say ‘squat’ and she just says ‘dada!’ – we don’t have long to go, she just needs to understand what ‘squat’ means.”

Matt was speaking at the press launch for his former bandmate Tom Fletcher’s live stage show, ‘The Christmasaurus LIVE’, where it was announced that he will be playing the show’s villain, the Hunter.

At the launch Tom also revealed that his children, three-year-old Buzz and 21-month-old Buddy, are also good at keeping fit thanks to his McFly bandmate Harry Judd’s fitness book, ‘Get Fit, Get Happy’.

Tom told us: “Harry came and did a workout with us and the kids, honestly, Buzz had the best time.

“We went on holiday afterwards and the whole time we were on holiday he was like ‘Let’s go outside and get fit, get happy!’ – Harry has turned my son into a walking advert.”

Harry will also be performing in ‘The Christmasaurus LIVE’ alongside Matt, Tom, Tom’s wife Giovanna Fletcher, and his sister, Carrie Hope Fletcher.

The Special Musical Edition Of The Christmasaurus will be released on 16 November and The Christmasaurs Live On Stage will be playing at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo from 21 December until 28 December.
