Exclusive: Ted Lasso boss responds to questions about the show future and spin-offs
Ted Lasso... what is going on?
There have been reports that the breakout Apple TV+ series is coming to an end with its third season, intentionally rather than due to cancellation, but there's such a demand for more that the people have involved have stated that we could get more stories with the characters beyond the initial plans.
Could that take the form of a fourth season, or perhaps a spin-off?

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, the show's boss Brendan Hunt has stated that anything is possible and nothing is off the table... but it's not something that the team are going to look too closely at for the time being.
"We just don't know. We truly don't," he said. "You know, it's out there — we always saw it as a three-movement suite and we're at the end of that three movements, but we never could have expected the reaction that we're getting to the show, or could we have expected how f**king fun it is to do.
"So we know we're going to take a little break. We're gonna get this season out there. We're gonna let the dust settle. And, and yeah... Everything is possible as of now."

Interestingly, lead star Jason Sudekis has been stating recently that not only is season 3 envisioned as the end, but once fans see the final episode, they may not actually want any more.
"The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don't even know yet – that being season 3 – it's flattering," he told Deadline.
"Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they're like, 'Man, you know what, we get it, we're fine. We don't need anymore, we got it'."
Having said that, he's also said he'd support the idea of a spin-0ff.
Ted Lasso season 3 is streaming now on Apple TV+.
