Explosion Rips Through Bar in Japan's Sapporo

At least 42 people were injured as a suspected gas explosion ripped through a bar and stores in Sapporo, Hokkaido prefecture, Japan, on the evening of Sunday, December 16.

Japanese news agency Kyodo reported the explosion occurred in the city’s Toyohira Ward and firefighters worked into the early hours of Monday controlling a blaze.
