Explosion at West Virginia Chemical Plant Captured on Home Security Camera

At least four people were injured in an explosion and fire at a chemical plant in Belle, West Virginia, late on Tuesday, December 8, reports said.

The Kanawha County Commission said a shelter-in-place advisory was issued for a two-mile radius around the Chemours Plant after an explosion at 10.02 pm Tuesday. The shelter-in-place advisory was lifted several hours later after emergency responders completed their evaluation.

The cause of the explosion was under investigation, reports said.
