Yahoo News Exposed! Corrie's Toyah and Peter are caught by Leanne
Coronation Streetfinally reveals one of its biggest secrets next week as Toyah Battersby and Peter Barlow's relationship gets exposed.
The pair were revealed as secret lovers in Corrie's Christmas episode, but very few people on the cobbles actually know that they're together.
Toyah (Georgia Taylor) and Peter (Chris Gascoyne) have kept their affair a secret as they don't want to cause Leanne any stress while she's pregnant, knowing that she'd disapprove of her sister and her ex-husband becoming an item.
Despite all the secrecy, Toyah takes a big risk next week as she confides in Leanne (Jane Danson) about the latest crisis to hit her relationship.
Toyah feels badly let down by Peter when he admits that he doesn't want any more children, which is completely the opposite of her own outlook after years of fruitless IVF treatment.
Throwing caution to the wind, Toyah tells Leanne about her problems with her secret lover 'Fred', convinced that she won't be able to put 2 and 2 together.
What Toyah doesn't count on is Leanne secretly snatching her phone and replying to a text from 'Fred', covertly inviting him round to the flat.
Later, Leanne opens the door and is confused to find Peter there. Will she realise what's going on?
Well, you'll have to wait and see exactly how it plays out - but before long, Leanne does know the truth and is nowhere to be seen, seemingly wanting some space.
In a classic case of soapy bad timing, this comes just as Leanne's own partner Nick Tilsley puts the finishing touches to a secret plan to propose to her. Has she done a disappearing act in response to the Toyah and Peter situation? And if so, will Nick's fairytale proposal plan be thwarted?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, February 3 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
