Extinction Rebellion activists open giant 'Drop BP' banner in British Museum

Extinction Rebellion activists opened a giant 'Drop BP' banner in the shape of its logo, in London's British Museum on Saturday 23 April. The oil company is a major, longstanding sponsor of the museum. Environmental direct-action group XR want the museum to stop taking BP's money, which it believes 'greenwashes' the oil major's effect on the climate.
