Hopes are high among Three Lions fans for a bank holiday if England can break their trophy drought by clinching the Euros on Sunday. However, the Government has yet to officially announce any plans for a national bank holiday, despite widespread campaigning from fans across the country.

In a viral video posted online by Georgeana Burkett, one man boldly claimed that 'not one person in England' would be heading to work the day after if Gareth Southgate's team triumphs in Sunday's final. Another fan, Reece, echoed this sentiment, stating: "One's on Tuesday night, one's in a Wednesday night semifinals.

The Euro 2024 final is scheduled for Sunday, July 14, with kick-off at 8pm.
