F1 calendar 2022: Key dates for car launches, pre-season testing, first Grand Prix and races

An exciting year awaits in Formula One with new regulations, two sets of pre-season testing, and a 23-race calendar to look forward to.

Fans’ appetite for the new campaign will be whetted with the unveiling of each team’s new cars, which will take place in the build-up to the first test and dates for these events are as yet unannounced.

The grid will have a first crack at their new creations in Barcelona before a three-day test in Bahrain ahead of Sakhir hosting the first Grand Prix.

Six sprint qualifying races are also planned and the locations of which can be found below.
