The dates and kick-off times for this season's FA Cup semi-final ties have been announced - with Tottenham set to take on Manchester United on Saturday 21 April while Chelsea play Southampton on Sunday 22 April.

Spurs' clash with United has been picked for the Saturday evening game, with a kick-off time at Wembley scheduled for 5.15pm. The game will be broadcast live on BBC One.

Chelsea's semi-final clash with Southampton, meanwhile, will be played on Sunday at 3pm, with the match broadcast live on BT Sport.

The Blues booked their place in the last four of the FA Cup with a 2-1 extra-time win away to Leicester on Sunday, a game which saw Alvaro Morata score his first goal in 2018 in.

Pedro then netted the winner in the 105th minute, which keeps alive Chelsea's hopes of winning the competition that they lost in the final last season.

Southampton will face Chelsea in the semi-finals after Mark Hughes inspired the Saints to a 2-0 win against Wigan in his first game in charge of the club.

Tottenham, meanwhile, will play United in the FA Cup semi-finals after comfortably beating Swansea 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium without the injured Harry Kane in the side.

Christian Eriksen bagged a brace in the quarter-final tie while Erik Lamela also scored to send Spurs into the last four for the second consecutive season.

The north Londoners will now host United, who they beat 2-0 in the Premier League at Wembley in January, at the national stadium after Jose Mourinho's men overcame Brighton 2-0 at home.

Mourinho was critical of his side in the aftermath of the game, despite the win, which saw Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic score in.
