Face of serial shoplifter who couldn't stop thieving in Walsall

A serial shoplifter has been jailed for targeting stores in Walsall. Isaac Miller, aged 28 and from Gurney Place in the town, was jailed for 23 weeks at Walsall Magistrates' Court having admitted five counts of theft.

Pc Lauren Burton, neighbourhood policing officer at Walsall local policing area, said: “This sentence sends out a clear message that if you carry out shoplifting in Walsall you be arrested, charged and face time behind bars. We are actively pursuing shoplifters and warn offenders who carry out shoplifting across Walsall that we will arrest you and bring you before the courts.”

Officers are running a shoplifting crackdown in Walsall called Operation Marigold. West Midlands Police said its teams regularly worked alongside businesses.
