Murderer Dale Crook stabbed his wife to death. Police discovered the body of Milica Zilic at the couple's home - on Wolverhampton Road, in Stafford - after a relative raised concerns for Crook's welfare.

The 28-year-old victim had suffered a stab wound to the chest. Now 34-year-old Crook has been jailed for almost 12 years after admitting his wife's murder.

The grim discovery was made on November 27, 2023. A knife was recovered from the flat.
