Two men were allegedly tricked into carrying out naked challenges on a fake game show, police have said.

In 2018, a 28-year-old man reported to police he had been approached by a 29-year-old man claiming to be in the entertainment industry asking him to take part in a made-up nude game show in return for the chance to win £5000.

The victim was asked to go to a hotel in Newham, east London, to complete several naked ‘challenges’ which were filmed, police said.

The suspect then kept the footage, believed to be for his own gratification, authorities added.

A second victim, a 31-year-old man, was identified on 2 February and he reported in August 2013 that the suspect coerced him to go to a hotel in south-east London and take part in similar activities.

Police confirmed as part of the investigation into these offences that a 29-year-old man was arrested on 30 January 2019 on suspicion of voyeurism and released under investigation.

Authorities said they believe there may be more victims.
