Family pay tribute to 'gentle' and 'kind' biker who died in A5 Tamworth crash
The family of a "kind" and "gentle" biker who was killed in a crash on the A5 in Tamworth have paid tribute. Alex Dickenson was riding his Yamaha motorbike when he was involved in a collision with a white Mercedes car at around 7.15pm on Wednesday, November 6.
The crash happened on the eastbound carriageway, between Ventura and Marlborough Way. Damage was caused to both vehicles.
Debris from that collision hit a white Vauxhall, travelling westbound. A white Scania HGV was then involved in a collision with the stationary Vauxhall and Mr Dickenson.

The 28, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the Vauxhall was driven by a woman in her 50s in the opposite direction. She suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where she continues to recover.
The driver of the HGV stayed at the scene and was assisting officers with their investigation. In a tribute to Alex, his family said: “Our Alex, so kind, so warm, so gentle, so funny. He will be forever loved and missed. All our love.”
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police added: "We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened on either carriageway or those with CCTV or dash-cam of the area at the time.
